According to a study conducted by Indian-American researcher Dr. Girish N. Nadkarni, the COVID vaccine lowers the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular problems in patients who tested positive for COVID infection. Dr. Nadkarni pointed out that the findings of his study were in line with the findings of a study based on the Korean COVID-19 registry.
According to the study that was published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the data suggested that vaccination may have beneficial effects on a variety of post-Covid complications. The researchers pointed out that they were shocked to see that even partial immunization was linked to a lower risk of serious cardiovascular problems.
The study was the first of its kind to evaluate both full and partial vaccination and the link to major adverse cardiac events (MACE) in the US. In the study, the researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai reached these conclusions after analyzing the largest datasets ever collected in the US.
